Calamity, the Oracle

Calamity was another poor hatchling saved by Bittersweet. He was worth pocket change to his parents, who didn't want him anyway. He grew bitter and tired. His prophecies, which were bare wisps that seemed to be an active hatchling's imagination, sharpened into focus. But they were all of one thing-- apocalypse. When? He couldn't tell. Burning faces, anarchy. Only rarely does he see the present and a peaceful world. His mind rages on, trapping him in an endless rushing tide of fear and blood.

He found momentary peace in the form of the imperial Seiko, but their time together was short. He was taken by a brutal plague and died in Calamity's arms. Since then, he has not trusted any Plague dragon but Revolution and Nathaniel.

However, during a trip to the Snowsquall Tundra, he ran into Quad, a runaway spiral, and brought him home. The two share a deep, if sometimes difficult, connection.
