Turambar's always felt ashamed of his father, Meadow, a Guardian dragon without a charge. To make matters worse, Turambar's father has repeatedly sabotaged his own son's attempts at finding a charge. When Turambar confronted his father, the truth came out- Meadow's own charge had died, leaving him torn and angry. He didn't want Turambar to risk going through that loss.

Though Turambar now understood Meadow's motivations, he knew his father's actions were not right. He set off on his own, with the help and support of his mother, to find the charge his heart called him to. Eventually he came upon a tall grassy hill, with clouds floating across the calm skies above. He vowed to protect it and its ecosystem from harm. Folding up his wings and sinking down into the grass and stones, Turambar was almost invisible.

Several times the Beastclans and rogue dragons have tried to make their home on the hill, and every time, Turambar fought them off. He is devoted, fearless, determined to succeed where his father failed.

Yes sometimes on the most quiet days, Turambar longs for the company he once had back at his birth Clan. He has only bird song for conversation, and only the occasional familiar for companionship. Perhaps one day in the future he'll find a way to live with a Clan as well as guarding a hill.

Until then, his life is devoted to his charge.
