Though he sticks out a like a sore thumb among the hardworking craftsmen of the clan with his blue feathers, soft silks and small stature, Regulus has found his own little niche in the clan. Born to a master Sorceress, Regulus was exposed to the arcane arts from a young age. Regulus showed high aptitude in spellweaving but, much to his mother's displeasure, turned towards the more obscure and frowned upon art of divination.

Regulus possesses a strong gift of "Sight". The world had always been a very confusing place for him, with the myriad colors flowing around, layered realities and whispers in his head. Using magic spells and tiring himself out seemed to help him see the "normal" world, so he threw himself into his studies, learning under his mother's tutelage, but incantation didn't hold his attention for long.

What finally caught his attention was an old, battered tome in his mother's collection, a book about clairvoyance where they mentioned Seers and their peculiar abilities. He experimented with the rituals mentioned in the tome and was elated to learn that they came to him easily. Determined to learn more about himself he set out into the world with his mother's grudging approval.

No one knows what happened to Regulus during the years that followed, but when he returned he was... different. An ethereal aura flows around him. His voice is soft and smooth, eyes unfocused, words cryptic, tone otherworldly. The more magic-sensitive breeds, such as Skydancers, find his presence disturbing, whispering of a feeling of wrongness settling around them. His raspy voice, exotic Coatl accent and cryptic words leave many in his presence with goosebumps and feelings of unease.

Regulus calls himself just a simple fortune teller, offering his services for a few coins or a good book. His little booth is filled with stereotypical fortunetelling paraphernalia, such as tarot cards, gemstones, even a beautiful crystal ball right in the middle of his table. Most of these items never leave their places, only there to set the mystical mood Regulus prefers to induce to his customers.

He uses several kinds of divination, though his main specialty is using the hands of the one seeking his services. As he takes a dragon's hands into his own he seems to fall into a trance, eyes unfocused, muttering gibberish under his breath, occasionally twitching. Regulus seemingly peers though the veils of time and gleans insights of that dragon's fate. Interpreting those insights, however, can be very tricky. Customers often leave his corner dissatisfied, not taking heed of his warnings and making the same mistakes. Regulus warns them of the possibility and refuses to take any blame for their actions.

Regulus is a studious Coatl, often found hidden among the books in the library studying magics or whatever caught his fancy. He's patient and unflappable, weathering the storm of insults of unhappy customers with a small, sharp smile. He's a loner, rarely participating in socializing. His relationships with his parents are shaky, but Regulus always takes time to visit and chat with them. He highly respects his mother for her craft and comes to her with questions on magical topics.

Regulus is often sleep deprived as visions come to him during sleep. They're very confusing and leave him with a bad headache, but are one of the most important ones he has, often concerning the future of his closest family and friends or even the clan itself.

Regulus is happily bonded to Harriet, the clan's horticulturist. They're a close pair, always touching, leaning into each other and talking though only a glance.
