Alicean

The nameless Skydancer had traveled far from Arcaneian lands she knew as home; she had willingly left her home to avoid her family and friends there from learning of her tragic discovery. She was a baron dragon, she was not fit to lay eggs and she felt great shame within her heart when she learned of this. She flew far north until it grew too cold for her to withstand the icy winds forcing her to the ground where she walked until discovering a door in the side of a hill. The female Skydancer shook her wings of the ice and knocked on the door, to her surprise someone did answer her. A rather fluffy looking dragon whom allowed her inside to warm by a fire. The Tundra inquired what she was doing out in the snow alone in the starting of a great storm.

She began her tale of travels, and even confined in the other about her discovery and her longing to vanish. The dragon took pity on her and offered her a solution, a change of appearance. She inquired what the other meant and followed him to a back room, decorated with bones, herbs jarred on shelves and curious looking scrolls. The Tundra lifted one up and opened it showing her the image of a Pearlcatcher and writing unfamiliar to herself. He explained he could change her into the Pearlcatcher species, and even slightly alter her appearance to insure she would become someone new. She did not hesitate in agreeing to go through with it, asking what she needed to do in order for this transaction to be complete.

The tundra asked her to join the clan lead by a Dragon Emperor in return for his survives, saying the Emperor was in need of good company and he believed she could fill the role. She agreed and the Tundra began the process, first changing her into the Pearlcatcher, then her markings where changed to farther herself away from who she once was. When completed the Tundra requested her name, realizing he had not asked. She pondered over it a moment, she had not received her name before leaving her Arcaneian clan and after a moment's thought she decided on the name Alicean. She was thrilled as she thanked the Tundra who lead her back to the main room where she slept through the storm by the warm fire.

In the morning she left her new Tundra friend to find the Emperor's clan in the ice. She was told he was a Coatl whom came from a Light clan as a hatchling, he held great power and his wings glowed like fire. As she soared she smiled to herself, excited to begin a life where she hoped her lack of egg production would not be minded, a place deep in the ice where her old friends and family would never know of her embarrassment, guilt and shame.
