Riff was a young captain, alive inside and eager to explore. He had friends who loved him, lead the greatest gang on the sea, The Eagles. So when he woke up on the shore of the Tsunami Flats, the images of his dead friends and sunken ship still fresh in his mind... his life changed.

He was found by Satura, who knew exactly how it felt to be haunted by the past. He took him straight back to Sweeney, who agreed to let him stay. But the nightmares continued. He'd often wake up the others, screaming in his sleep about Action and Ulikh. It was only ever Satura that could calm him down. So they became friends. Satura didn't speak much, or have much passion about well... anything. But he listened, and that's all that mattered. He is still haunted to his day, but knowing he has Satura to protect him, he sleeps easier.
