Apophis | Historian
The clan's library has always been of evergrowing enormous size, but since Apophis joined the clan it has become even more gigantic. As a historian, Apophis tries to collect all the stories and tales from different areas of Sornieth - sometimes with the help of his mate Iaret - and writes them down in a somehow objective and informative way. His most recent field of study has been the former destruction of Sornieth trough the Shade and other catastrophes and he is espescially interested in how to prevent them from happening again, because chaos seems to have a special influence on him. Anyway, of course he makes sure to write down the most recent events as well - including the different battles for dominance in Sornieth, who won, who lost and what the consequences were.

Apophis is a very serious yet chaotic dragon - this is also how he accidentally stumbled upon this clan. Too busy staring at runes and glyphs he was found by one of the Guardian dragons who noticed that something was off in their area. He did not know how to explain himself very well - verbally he was rather lost, but his telepathy worked out for him in the end. Also, the clan desperetaly needed someone to write down some history and so he was happily welcomed into the clan. Because his work most of the time requires writing and reading books, he spends most of his time in the enormous library of the clan - sometimes he even falls asleep there over all of his notes - and is only seen when Iaret returns from one of her missions. He might seem somewhat aloof to newbies, but that's only because he really does not know how to explain himself verbally. In contrast to the other dragons he really prefers thelepathy as a way of communication because it's more quiet and his thoughts don't come out as a dusty earthquake of pebbles. Still, from time to time, and espescially after he consumed some liquor, everyone will have a chance to get to know other sides of him - he likes to laugh, to tell interesting stories of everything he has learned so far and sometimes he even talks about what worries him, how he is afraid the world might fall apart again because of repeating history. |
