LUNA Queen of the Crag Luna isn't actually a queen in the textbook definition, her 'title' is a reference to her size in comparison to most of her fellow female clan-mates. With the elders of the clan all being of the small nocturne variety, Luna can be very maternal and protective of them, though her duties specialize in cooking and feeding everyone after a long day of hunting. Another reason Luna is very protective of her clan is they are her second family. As a child she escaped from a clan of 'breeders' -dragons who keep their hatchlings long enough to train them before sending them off to join the dieties- and was taken in when she was discovered by Lys. Due to her size, Lys has chosen not to train her for hunting, but Luna doesn't have a problem with it. |
