Meirwen was found by the Blackrock Hill Clan when she was still in her egg. She has lived with the clan all her life, except for a short breeding trip to an Earth clan when there were no eligible males to be found at home. Her son Raugrim was born during that time abroad.
Meirwen is a very independent dragon, who has a hard time when it comes to obeying orders. She and the clan leader Gasira often don't see eye to eye, though she is careful to avoid open rebellion. She has her own small group of followers, consisting mostly of black dragons.
Her magical transformation into a Skydancer has not changed her much. If anything she has become even more lofty.
