A soldier through and through. She is not one who fights for freedom and love. They say those are the strongest motivators. But, whoever they are, they clearly have not met Darvena. She fights because it is who she is, fueled by rage and hatred. Always she is at the front of the fray and her kill count is always the highest. It is a good thing her scales are red, for it masks some of the blood. Out of all of the warriors, she would be the last one to ever back down from a fight. In fact, she believes that the only way to live is through fighting and old age and disease will never catch her; she will die on the battlefield, doing what she loves.

Her past is shrouded in mystery. No one has asked her about it since the last one who did wound up dead. But, asking isn’t the only way to find truth. Hushed rumours float around on frightened lips. Some claim she is the daughter of the Goddess of War and the God of Death. Others whisper that she was stolen as an egg and then beaten and trained into this life. Even more suspect that her own father is a great warlord chieftain who sent his daughter out to scout and conquer. Still more believe that she was once part of a great clan, but snapped one day and slaughtered them all. The truth of her past may never be known, but speculations continue to surround her.
