When left to their own devices, Dregs & Pthisis stay together, coiled around eachother and nursing eachother's wounds. While their relationships with Nettle & Sorrow are shallow and solely for producing offspring, Dregs & Pthisis truly care for one another. It is kept secret from the rest.

Trans agender (it/its) Bisexual At first believed to be magicless/mundane, Dregs has accessed its magic reserves for the first time it can remember since its 'rebirth' in the Wyrmwound. Whether they were already present or was imbued by the almost overwhelming residual magic/radiation within the Wyrmwound, Dregs has powerful but highly unstable magics. It both rots and rejuvenates the flesh simultaneously, twisting it beyond recognition or reason. Dregs is terrified of it and the possibilities it could be used for if found out, and keeps its magic on lockdown at all times. Previous History wrote:
Skimmed off the bubbling surface of the Wyrmwound, Dregs has no memory of where it came from. It is an oddity, possessing multiple mouths and eyes, although no one is certain if they were present before or after it was discovered floating in the Wyrmwound. It has a staggered pace from pulsating boils on its hide that almost seem alive. Dregs shivers constantly as it is scaleless and has patches of raw flesh that it scratches until it bleeds.
It is surprisingly friendly if you get past its appearance, although you have to strain to hear its whispered words. Nettle has taken it as a mate, an odd choice if any for Dregs to accept her companionship, although they appear to be fairly content together. Nettle almost seems to regard it as a trophy, a way to spread the contagion of Plaguemother and further her offspring to her own end. But no one can deny Dregs is a well taken care of trophy, even when wrapped in oilcloth rags and bloodied bandages. |
