Nebulus

The self-proclaimed 'King of Thieves', Nebulus is a wry Skydancer that won't hesitate to pick your (metaphorical) pockets to get some treasure. Some might call him a dirty thief, but he does have an ulterior motive for his dishonesty. He acts like he does it for the money and glory solely, but in truth he is saving up to get surgery for his injured mother, Chrysocolla. Even Swift cannot heal her deformed and mangled bones, and in order to get the special treatment from the top-class Arcane doctors he will need an awful lot of gold.

Although he does not have many friends outside the Guild, his appearance can be deceiving. If he isn't hiding in the ruins waiting for a easy picking, he can be found playing with the new hatchlings and teaching them how to nab gold coins from a courier's satchel. He has been scolded by his father for teaching such unorthodox things, but he simply grins and continues to do it anyway. He never really listened to him for anything since he was a hatchling.

Nebulus has ambitions to leave behind his life of thievery and join the Guild's fighters to bring home money and spoils legitimately, but he refuses to speak to Nesilia about the matter until he has afforded treatment for his mother. He knows a few simple tricks for self-defense, and until he has completed his selfless wish he won't broaden his knowledge and skills in the fighting area. Perhaps one day, when he leaves behind his dishonest hobby and brings back honour, he could raise a brood of his own with another beautiful dragon? Only time will tell.
