Biography
Diamonte
The Lost One
Diamonte does not exist.
No one in the world remembers him. Forgotten by all, he lives in the Void, watching and waiting.
All that is left of his presence on the physical plane is careful carvings and drawings. And a certain Nocturne...

"This is the story I’ve heard, and it’s mostly secondhand and even I don't know whether to believe it but it goes like this:
"This is set back in the founder's times when our ship was first outlined on paper. It's said that the founder themself, an Imperial specializing in runic magic created it as a way to bring scientists and magic users alike together. But this story doesn't focus on the founder, but their friend and rival, a scientist by the name of Diamonte."
"Diamonte had heavily contested if the creation of the ship was even possible. A ship that could go into space was unheard of. He used to laugh and say it was the last thing the founder would ever do. He meant it as a joke, that the creation of the ship would take so long that even a long lived Imperial wouldn't live to see it."
"Unfortunately, his joke came true, but not how he meant it."
"The founder died young in mysterious circumstances. It took months for Diamonte to learn of it along with receiving a mysterious letter."
"Come and see."
The founder had finished the ship, and it was the last thing he died. Looking upon what the founder had done, what was supposed to even settle their old rivalry, and allow them to truly work together. Diamonte, well..."
"He went mad with grief."
He kept pushing and pushing, trying to find a way to drag a soul back from the other world. Until his own magnum opus, a portal that could open a pathway into other worlds, went wrong. It was a terrible accident that killed his lab assistants and stranded Diamonte on the other side of the portal. Any trace of him in history or memory was completely erased. Completely invisible and soundless, he can only watch the world, haunting the ship."
“Still searching for his lost friend.”
"Until Mythos came on the ship. She says that she can see him clearly, a large snowy Imperial, and even speak to him. She's the one who shared this story with me. Try and try as I might, I've never found any evidence or anyone who can corroborate her story. Though, you know." A soft chuckle. "It's probably wishful thinking, but sometimes her shadow, when she has one, tends to look more like an Imperial than a Nocturne. And other times, she's definitely mimicking someone, but it certainly isn't anyone on the ship."
