Phobos

Which head is Phobos and which one is Deimos? That depends on who's asking, and which head decides to answer. Names meant little in the Wyrmwound, and the outside world's insistence that concepts like names or pronouns are so important amuses them.

That isn't to say that the heads are indistinguishable. After the last plunge they took into the cauldron before leaving Plague territory, they emerged with their skin, their eyes, bubbling with the Mother's magic. these new myriad eyes see mundane light very poorly, if at all, but in return they are hypersensitive to magic, whether that of the Mother or of other gods. One head sports many more of these new eyes, covering its face and neck almost to the exclusion of muscle and hide, while the other head is spared the Mother's blessing and can function normally. The eye-pocked head, therefore, lolls almost useless, often tucked under a wing to protect it, while the unblessed head conducts all Deimos and Phobos' business with the world at large.

What brought them to Lightning territory, whether they will stay or continue to wander, are questions neither will answer directly. But they are intensely curious to see how the children of other gods have learned to be strong.
