History/Personality Traits
Lunar is a peculiar but charming individual. The only one of his siblings to inherit the after-effects of his grandmother being dissolved into space-time and miraculously coming back to life. Because of this, he harbors some unknown magical properties that he doesn't seem to care much about discovering. Instead of delving into the intricate mysteries surrounding magic, Lunar places his concerns in something much more interesting--fine art. He gets along with his father very well because of this, although they aren't interested in the same type of art, they tend to share some similar opinions and relate to each other fairly well. Lunar's mother, Lacey, often becomes irritated by this because she wishes her son would seek out his true magical potential and claims that Lunar's presence is just like having "a duplicate of his father".
The icy imperial is actually quite different from Liron, unlike his joyful and lively dad, Lunar is much more skeptical and often comes off as pretentious. Instead of pursuing the art of acting and drama, Lunar prefers a more physical form of art, specifically in the form of sketching, painting, and his favorite--carving statues. The imperial's statues are so amazing and detailed that some believe that he's making clones of himself, considering he resembles their stony, white appearances. Some find his statues creepy, while others find them beautiful. His den is often littered with his abandoned projects, half-carved, detailed dragon parts just laying around, but he doesn't seem to mind at all.
Lunar actually seems to enjoy clutter and chaos, and becomes nervous or anxious if everything is clean and orderly. To counter this feat, the dragon becomes highly irritated when things can't be completed/wrapped up properly, leaving the procrastination-prone dragon usually cranky. He hates it when other dragons touch his belongings and often keeps to himself, although he has acquired a few friends and even fans of his work.
Many are amazed by not only his artistic insight but his other creative ideas and opinions. Though he's extremely bright, he still shows no interest in art in written form and still prefers to display his ideas through concrete images and sculptures. Lunar is often blunt with his opinions and can be very critical, leaving some to believe that he's a jerk, when he insists that he's "just being honest". He often picks up on small things and is very observant, which can be helpful (in some situations) or really annoying.
Lunar can be extremely stubborn and difficult when it comes to his own opinions and expresses that he "doesn't have time for people who are painfully dull" which can make being his acquaintance quite challenging for those who like to argue. However, the imperial doesn't really flaunt his opinions and is usually opt to agree to disagree (as long as you don't tell him that he's wrong).

"Chander"
Clearwater Oracle - Male - Young Adult - Vocal Chander is a maren oracle especially well-adapted to freezing waters with an interest in neutral and ice magic. After learning draconic with a desire to become an Ambassador, Lacey brought him to the clan on one of her trips to the Starfall Isles and he became acquainted with the prestigious Lunar, who somehow conviced him that he was an important dragon political figure (so that Chander would pose for an elongated period of time so that Lunar could sketch him). Despite the "misunderstanding" that occurred when they first met, Chander decided to stay with Lunar on his travels and has piqued an interest in the fine arts himself. The two are sort of those pretentious best friends that like to judge everyone even though they're both sort of just losers. |
