Biography
Treason! How dare they throw out their kind, handsome, wise leader? Didn't know what was good for them, he supposed. In time they'd see what they were missing and they'd beg him to return. Oh, how he'd relish that moment. He'd let them grovel and feign reluctance "Oh please, King Fortinbras we are lost without your guidance!", but eventually he'd agree to return to his lost children, on the condition that they never betrayed him again. Now, it was only a matter of waiting for that time to arrive. Perhaps he'd even convert some of the dragons from this clan to follow him back. They were mostly a senseless lot, but hey, the more the merrier when it came to subjects, right?
Fortinbras got the best of both words, so to speak. His father was a little odd, a little scattered in the head. He didn't know much about his mother, other than that she was quite caught up in her appearance. Vanity coalesced with just a touch of not-all-there to create the Good King. While he is relatively harmless, his "good ideas" and kingly antics were a rather big thorn in the side for his former clan. When a new group of dragons took the clan over, they made the decision to excommunicate Fortinbras, for the peace of the entire group. You see, he was never actually the king of anything, but it didn't stop him from trying to be. He insisted on being addressed as "your majesty" and interjected into situations where he had no business to declare that his sovereign judgement would solve the problems of his simple-minded subjects. The new leaders would tolerate no longer his undermining of their authority, and so they cast him out, much to the relief of their clanmates.
Fortinbras was taken in by Zeta's clan, tired, cold, and hungry after wandering on his own. She believed that with his age must have come wisdom and that he would be a valuable asset to the clan. So far, he has proven harmless, and only a minor annoyance to Zeta and her patient followers. Epsilon is the least tolerant toward this newcomer, but does his best to avoid him rather than stirring in trouble. The gentle nature of the clan lets Fortinbras "rule" in peace, at least for the time being.
