The clan's engineer and resident Arcanist (in relation to the slightly alarming number of 'incidents'). He prefers to focus on work and ignore the rest of the world, with only his mates able to draw him back out of his head. He came to the Wastes to study Fire mechanics and forging for a 'secret defense project' that he's not yet perfected. Very close to the Windcarve Fugitive Ne'lok; they share a similar backstory. His mates Steve and Bucky often hide his tools to keep his attention on them.

the reason for the deaths of so many! the cause of the war! Ne'lok, a fugitive harpy prince, sought asylum in the near-by Red Reaches. Bhu gave him asylum. However, Ne'lok's desire to be an outcast from his harpy flock was not taken well, and they descended upon the Red Reaches to regain their 'wayward prince'. He refused to return to the flock, the dragons backing him up and forcing the harpies out. Days later they returned, trapping a good many of the clan's fighters against the Sea, where the harpies' allies, a school of blood-thirsty Maren, combined forces with the harpies in slaughtering the captive dragons. The Red Reaches responded with the well-known and feared fire flight rage, and successfully drove the harpies away. With the assistance of an allied water flight clan, they drove the Maren deep back out into the Sea. Although the war was ultimately won, the casualties were found to be too great for celebration. The Red Reaches laid to rest almost a third of its clan, the water clan having similar casualties.
