Sunset

Sunset was always very adventerous often wandering far from his home clan for hours on end before finally returning, sometimes days later. One day he wandered too far doing several fast and challenging aerial acrobatics. He fainted in a strange land filled with lush green canopy above. He had traveled all the way to the Viridian Labyrinth. He flew up to the sky and tried to retrace his flight path. While he was flying he heard a noise behind him. It was a flock of Talonok, and below were sounds of Centaur warriors fighting one of the local dragon clans. The Talonok caught up with him and swooping in from above gave him a swift and powerful thwack on his head. He spiralled down to the ground where the dragons and Centaur were fighting.

"Quick, go around from behind!...Keep them away from our nests and gardens!..." were the first words he heard when regaining conscuiosness. One dragon was pushed back to where he lay. He folded up his wings brushing one against the nearby dragon accidentally. The other dragon jumped up diagonally and landed nearby growling. Still feeling weak from the Talonok's sky attack he managed to hobble over and give the other dragon a weak nuzzle. The other dragon, a little less startled blinked and looked at him before rejoining the fight nearby. At this point he lost consciousness again.

When he awoke there was another dragon giving him some tasty insects she had just caught. He looked up at her and she smiled and said "Ah good you're awake! How are you feeling dear?". He looked into her eyes and noticed the green color, somehow it was different than the Wind dragons he knew but also had a warm friendly glow to them which reminded him of home. "Better thank you." He said. At first she thought he might be another Nature dragon like her but somehow the green in his eyes was different yet warm and friendly like the other Nature dragons she knew from her clan. He explained to her how he got there and what had happened. She nodded and motioned him to follow. The clans home was beautiful with flowering trees and lush green foliage below with two creeks running around the many gardens through their territory. Upon arriving at her clans home he saw a Mirror and Guardian dragon nearby. The dragon who lead him to this beautiful home told him their names. "The two over there are Skygano and Stryxara and I'm Sarahi. Me and Skygano are clan leaders." He nodded but was unable to give them a name as at the time he had none. Luckily the three were used to accepting new dragons into their clan and noticed he had the colors of a sunset over the southeast corner of their homeland, where it bordered the Sunbeam Ruins. His bright yellow wings looked like the sun, his body like a sunset, and his green underside like a field, forest, or other green landscape in front of the sunset. They all asked if he would like to be named after the sunset and before they could do anything more he flew all around them in circles repeating his name "Sunset, I am called Sunset! Thisisthehappiestdayofmylifethankyousomuchformynew..." He didn't get any further before running out of breath and landing with a thud. The three blinked and looked at each other before carrying him inside.

Sunset has since grown and matured a little. He now goes by the name Captain Sunset and teaches other dragons his self taught aerial acrobatics and ones he learned from others. In his spare time he carries letters to and from his clan.
