Zaanqalos

Zaanqualos was orphaned at an early age and raised by a group of centaurs. Consequently, and because of her natural skill in reading people (due to her antenna), she became an interpreter and ambassador between beastclan factions and dragon clans. She first met her mate, Rulim, in a water lair, most of the way across the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Together they travelled, and though their relationship was very committed, it was not exclusive. Many times they visited both the lair in which they met, and the Clan of the Woven Wave.

Not long before the Disaster, the two of them had decided to settle primarily in the Clan of the Woven Wave. During the attack, both of them were actually at a talk with maren leaders, who, when later asked, seemed, truthfully, to have had no knowledge of the young maren's plans. In fact, all of the maren involved were rebellious and young.

Since the attack though, Zaanqualos and Rulim are barely able to hold off full fledged attacks between the two parties, and had difficulty getting some of the dragons in the clan to agree to return the marens' bodies.
