Instructions/Tips

Golem is a mage, intended for use in the Golem Workshop to support two 126 STR Culex glass cannons. He has balanced offensive and defensive abilities. Place him in the far left position on your team. He will go fifth in the first round, and first in every subsequent round. His Discipline stone means he will Meditate for either 30 or 60 breath.


Aid
Aid heals your dragons for 766 health. This means you can fully heal a dragon that has taken two hits, so if a dragon has taken one hit and you're low on breath, don't worry. You can get to it later.

Congeal
Congeal is Ice's special ability. It does about 675 damage to most enemies, 1354 to Nature, Plague, and Water enemies, and only 337 damage to Shadow and Ice enemies. This means it usually functions as a stand-in for Scratch, but against Construction and Sentinel Miths it is the equivalent of an Eliminate from a 126 STR build! This is great for helping your glass cannons build a little breath. Beware though, against a Scrapmetal Tracker or Frost Delver it is nearly useless!

Congeal also has a chance to freeze an enemy, making it unable to attack. This can come in handy once in a while. However, even a frozen enemy may be able to attack, so don't rely on it to keep your dragons from getting hit.

Contuse
Contuse also works as a stand-in for Scratch. When facing a boss I always use this attack first, to keep them from doing too much damage. It's also good for damage control against regular enemies in case the follow-up Eliminate misses.
