Personality

Mythal is an observant dragon who prefers to keep distance to other members of the clan. She has mood shifts very often - sometimes in the middle of conversation. As a shadeborn dragon she constantly combats the emptiness and the feel of nothing within her. She is very lonely but chooses to live separately from the clan so she wouldn't do anything she would regret by accident.

 Role description

Mythal serves as a harvester to the clan. It is her job to search for anything that could be useful for the clan be it food or items. She chooses to operate on her own instead of in a team.

History

Mythal's life has been difficult ever since the first cracks appeared to her egg. She was not a happy hatchling - she constantly felt that there was something wrong with her, that something that was supposed to be there but wasn't. She couldn't place it and neither could her parents who were not Lightborn.

Mythal tried to live her life the best she could in her birthclan. She was fickle, however, and could turn hostile in a matter of seconds - even unprovoked. Thus eventually she distanced herself from her clan - and, in the end, chose exile to prevent anything bad from happening.

Mythal roamed the Sunbeam Ruins aimlessly for a while before she decided to leave for good. She headed north towards the abundant and verdant Viridian Labyrinth. There she found a clan called Evervale. She was exhausted from traveling but couldn't bear bringing any possible harm to the clan, so she stayed away from them but in close enough proximity so the clan would eventually take notice of her presence.

After some time an official invite to join the clan was offered. Mythal was hesitant but the clan's leader convinced her to reconsider. Mythal agreed to join but kept her distance. She helped the clan by gathering everything she found useful and bringing it to them as payment for sheltering her. She condiered leaving a few times, however. It had been easier traveling alone with no goal or direction than to be around other dragons and still try to keep herself apart from them.

Lucian, another dragon hailing from the Sunbeam Ruins, didn't leave her to her sulking and insisted on keeping her company. They became friends - and Mythal became very protective and even jealous over him. Lucian didn't mind, however - he managed to keep the worst of her jealousy at bay.

When the clan decided to move to the Sunbeam Ruins Mythal was very hesitant to follow. She didn't have many fond memories of the place - mostly scoldings and even beatings when her darker nature had surfaced and "needed to be corrected". She did help the clan to find a place to settle in, however, since she was familiar with the area.

It wasn't long after the clan had settled in when Melchior joined the clan. He was an old imperial, experienced and had seen many things in his life. He seemed to be intrigued with Mythal, a dragoness who shared same colors. To Mythal's surprise he didn't shun her away and didn't seem to mind her sometimes erratic personality. The two quickly became very close - but who knows what kind of relationship they develop.
