Kato CLAN ROLE OR SOMETHING Mage to his clan, Kato exudes a persona that dances between closed off and downright confusing. Many question what he’s talking about when he does speak, as the dragon is wont to speak in tongue twisters and riddles as opposed to direct answers. It can become quite infuriating for others, but he is a terribly gifted mage and means no ill-intent with his way of conversing. Most leave the dragon to his own devices, allowing him to focus on what he can concoct or conjure in the sanctity of his lab. For the most part, Kato focuses on the more arcane aspects of magic. Abjuration to protect the clan has been his primary focus as of late, spurned on by the death of the clan’s snapper warrior Raspberry’s passing. At one point he had loved Raspberry with the utmost devotion any could imagine. It was an odd pairing, to say the least, as Kato seemed to check all the boxes opposite of Raspberry’s own ideals. But despite that he still cared deeply for the snapper. Together they had raised several dragons, which brought about abnormal parenting perspectives from both dragons. Upon Raspberry’s unexpected passing, Kato was a bit beside himself. He hadn’t experienced the type of loss he had then suffered, the likes of which threw the pearlcatcher into his work within the clan in an almost obsession fueled fervor. The origins of Kato are lost to all except the pearlcatcher himself, but many that have asked him end up in a brain numbing riddle that no one has answered yet. He prefers it that way, allowing him to focus on his work within the clan and keep himself from getting too close to any of the other members. It isn’t that Kato is uninterested in forming friendships with them. He has a few within his life that he would call friends, though casual. Kato has just learned over the course of his life that nothing lasts forever, and plans on putting to good use his abilities in the hopes that his late former lover would approve. "love that you're giving the newer apparel some love with this old guy! the magister pieces tie so nicely with those purplish hues ice poison gives him (and i had to acutally look to see that it was ice, i initailly assumed it was something like mist or wisteria!). i also love when people use skincents that do something with the pearl, and his is just a match made in heaven. another lovely old dragon!"
