Really what was one little coup between family? Apparently a whole lot because they were banished and stuck in these too dark woods with weird smelling mushrooms! She was the only remaining daughter of the clan leader! Her mother was an honored first generation! She wouldn’t have done that badly. By the Behemoth even eight of her clanmates had agreed, only to end up being banished with her. Her former mate and her own son and grandson amongst them. She felt fairly guilty about losing them their home but had tried to cheer them up by saying that they would just form their own clan, be a splinter of their previous clan. Only to fail terribly. They’d struggled at every turn and having no permanent lair had worn on them, they were chased out as rogues or traitors by the clans in the Viridian Labyrinth and were eventually forced south to the Tangled Wood.

She had been a prideful mirror who wouldn’t admit to her mistakes, but she would try to make up for them as best she could. It had brought her low, her failure. Shattered her pride and self-confidence. Now she had decided it was best for them to no longer stay with her, a group this large had been lucky to be taken in, they’d fair better in smaller pairs. Of course they'd protest, but they can’t deny she’s right that their size would do them harm. Her old mate tried to ask for land and aid from the clans in the Wood but was denied. So here they sit in solemn silence as they prepare to go their separate ways, taken in by whatever clans will have them and the guardians to begin their Searches, as they should have done long before now.
