In his past life he was an alchemist. Perhaps the long years of forcing potions into their purest form coloured his eyes into doing the same with drgonkind. Perhaps it was the doctrine of his cult. He sees a world of corruption, ready to be cleansed.
The elders of his cult heard his declaration and gave their blessings; with a condition. Their institution's greatest enemy were the wicked practitioners of unworldly magic. Should they be allowed to continue their perversions, the fabric of the world may be twisted beyond repair. If Solstice is to crusade, crusade against them!
Solstice spoke a vow that he will not rest until every witch has been punished, silenced, and bound.
Ever since then, he has lived with a feverish energy. Barely sleeping. Barely stopping to acknowledge the dragons around him, except to interrogate for information. His eyes burn with dark determination.
The others at Dune Junction fear him far more than witches.
