Certainly not everything can be eaten raw and who doesn't like a good cooked meal? Well, the other clan members surely wouldn't dare to despise one after coming to the dining hall after a hard day of work. And there is always a lot of variety hen Pineapple and Pomegranate have finished cooking - no one will have to starve theirselves, that would be horrible! Thus, the snapper lady stays at the kitchen the longest time of the day, sometimes even at night when some of the already grown hatchlings want to eat something special. Or when there is an emergency which requires a whole lot of food. Really, she has no problem with staying in the kitchen for however long and cooking food for her fellow clan members at un-earthly times. After all, she is one of the chefs and she knows all the different recipes - be it traditional or modern cuisine. She also makes sure to adjust some of the meals to a dragon's special liking - sweetness, spicyness, etc. All the years of cooking have made her the best cook (besides Pomegranate) which the clan would truly miss if gone. They always make sure to show appreciation through feedback on new dishes or simply eating everything up as fast as they can - luckily, she always makes sure to safe a bit of food for herself before opening up the tables.

When Pineapple first arrived here, she felt a bit... odd. Since she had been born into the Ashfall Waste, her wish to visit Dragonhome has been strong, but nevertheless it was a bit difficult to adjust to the different circumstances here at first, even though Pomegranate left the old domain with her. Luckily, the clan was very welcoming and had no problem with giving her the time she needed until figuring out which role she would take here. After all, forcing her into something would have been no use. So through some experiments and psychological questions, they found out how much Pineapple would actually enjoy cooking and let her try a few things. She was very talented from the beginning and has shown growing interest in cooking ever since - which is how she became one of the chefs. Other than cooking, she simply enjoys chatting with her friends and collecting random pebbles she finds. Once in a while, she actually takes them all to the nesting grounds and show them to the newly born hatchlings, who then can chose one of her pebbles and might keep it forever, if they want to. If they don't, Pineapple very much appreciates the return of her pebbles - after all, she put some effort into collecting them. A fact that many people don't know, is that the Snapper actually really enjoys to tell jokes and is secretely a bit jealous of Peron and Irady for being so good at that. Though she would never show that and of course it is not too serious for she loves both of them.
