B I O G R A P H Y

Aegean was born in a Plague clan that once had been powerful and influential, ruling over several smaller clans and exacting tribute from them, but had now fallen on hard times and was about to collapse. When he hatched, Aegean was seen as just another mouth to feed at a time when food was scarce. Too young to gather food and feed himself or others, the young Coatl was left on the doorstep of the Auction House, where he became the problem of the AH workers instead of his clan's. A few days later Radiance, the leader of the Clan of Roaring Waters, entered the Auction House. The night before she had dreamed of two red-eyed warriors, sharp lines drawn on scales and fur. She watched as they fought side-by-side against monsters, raised their young, and trained dragons into mighty warriors. Though she never saw their faces clearly, she felt the same warm protectiveness she felt towards all her clan mates, the protectiveness a Guardian feels for her Charge. Radiance understood - the dream was telling her that two Plague dragons with Circuit would join her clan, and with their battle prowess the clan would grow strong and prosperous. As the clan had no Plague dragons or dragons with Circuit at the time, Radiance went to the Auction House to find them. When she entered the area where hatchlings were kept, she immediately found herself drawn to Aegean and a young Tundra named Mary. Radiance adopted both of them and brought them to their new home in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. She never told them about her dream, but she did tell them that they were betrothed to one another and would become mates when they were old enough, for in her dream she had seen that if the two Plague dragons became mates, they would bring each other great happiness and their children would become strong warriors for the Tidelord.
