Fisher -- Soldier -- Treasure Hunter
Despite hir fearsome claws and sharp teeth, Yiauwa spends most of hir time relaxing in the water, swimming, and catching fish. A native of the Ice realms, shi has a better than average ability to retain heat in hir rather thick body, and shi has a natural aptitude for floatation as a result. Able to propel hirself through the water with powerful hindlimbs and hir leathery wings, shi is a terror to the fish within the Tangled Wood - and to those creatures on the battlefield suited for predation. Shi is rather boisterous and excitable, splashing about and often giving those who’d rather do without an unwelcome dousing; but if one can tolerate the splashing, one can find a very reliable, trustworthy ally in hir. Hir high spirits and big energy give hir something of a reputation as being annoying, but as one gets to know hir, they will find hir to be a cheerful and friendly dragon. Shi is an accomplished treasure-hunter, and has an affinity for jewels and bangles. Shi is confident that someday, shi will find something truly amazing, that will show everybody who ever doubted hir that they were wrong! However, so far the rusty treasure-chests shi and hir Familiar have drug up from the murky depths of the Drag and the Sea hold only coins and junk. A fearsome and formidable hunter, shi slips through the night of the Tanglewood, flashy and bright like a glowshroom, blending into the sparkling darkness. The bright headdress and banner shi wears are hir marks of glory, proving to the world that shi who wears them bears glory and has proven hir fearlessness. Shi slew the beast for the headdress hirself -- however, the magical alterations to change its color were done by the clan's sorceror, and the banner is silk from a foreign land. 
Yiauwa was named “yau” for “ocean” and “wa” for “foam”
