Kairi

Born of royalty, Kairi never wanted to be a princess. She always looked up to her bond-sister Ianthe instead of her royal parents, and soon after she came of age she flew away to become a pirate. Unexpected trouble left Kairi lost at sea, and it was only then that she realized what she had gotten into. If a strange otter hadn't found her and led her to a friendly sea clan, the sea could have claimed her life. Homesickness soon inspired Kairi to don an earring like her mother, but she never did go back home. Kairi will have a hard time scourging the seas for a while, but with her new clan on her side for support, anything is possible in time! She will sail the thousand currents, defeating monsters and raising a massive hoard of treasure, hoping someday to take Ianthe's place as the best pirate in the sea.
