Nysa

When her egg hatched, one said a star died and came to take residence within her.

It was not hard to believe such a thing when one saw the hatchling's scales neraly bursting with magic power, tendrils of arcane energy flowing like purple lava inbetween thinner-skinned areas of her outer armor. She was a magnificent sight to behold, and all who were present had the image of what could only be the personification of magic itself being born into the world, as if no power existed before she drew her first breath!

Nysa could hear the stars.
They would whisper formulas to her, and she would listen.

Every night, she gave her thanks to the endless world alight above their heads, and the stars winked back at her. In time, a rune materialized atop her head, glowing a bright, unfading light, heralding her as a chosen of the Arcane.

Within the clan, she teaches the basics of magic to all willing to learn, imparting the endless knowledge of the clan that saw the birth of Faes foremost, wielders of the greatest of magics. Nysa has never let herself be gained by a desire to boast or brag, remaining humble and pleasant towards any who would come to her.

When one gazes at her, it is akin to looking into a nebula.
