His mother is the Sparrow Star Clan's Collector. She and her team are making their way through the coliseum cataloging and collecting all of the creatures that they find there. Einar and his father dislike the violence in the coliseum, although they both understand that the work that Furiosa does is necessary. Einar would rather travel to other lairs and learn about other dragons than collect samples with his mother.
Weary from his travels, Einar hadn't really registered where he was flying. He just allowed his sore wings to carry him where ever the winds would take him. It wasn't till he landed for a break that Einar realized he had crossed into The Scarred Wasteland. Though he knew there could be a lot of valuable samples in this area, he was reluctant to travel on due to the tales he had heard about plague dragons; savages that would ambush and rob a dragon of their precious belongings and leave you to their deity's mercy. He involuntarily shivered as he folded his wings in tighter along his back. Einar had no desire to be attacked, it would bring back ugly memories
of the coliseum fights he once took part in.

To his fortunate luck a group of three dragons were scouting the area and saw that he was lost. They landed a little ways away from him so he wouldn't assume they were hostile or there to rob him. Once Einar saw them he tensed up expecting one to lash out at him, it was three to one and the odds were not in his favor at the moment.

He questioned the three dragons motive impassively but was surprised to receive sympathetic words from one of the dragons named Winter. After Einar felt a little more comfortable around the three he explained he was just passing by to collect samples from all around the land. The three enthusiastically escorted him back to their clan as a guest of honor.

At their lair he met all sorts of friendly faces from diverse walks of life. One thing that they all had in common was that they had found this clan while travelling the land in order to 'see it all' but they found this peaceful corner and had decided to settle down as scavengers. They explained that lost travelers are always more than welcome to stay with them or just rest their sore wings till they decide to move on.

Einar enjoyed joining various members of the clan on scouting and scavenging missions, but in the back of his mind he knew that if he were to get more samples he'd have to keep moving around the world. His thoughts were conflicted-he really liked this way of life, and there was always an open invitation should he want to become one of them...but he had to remember his purpose was to collect samples of all different lairs, not just one.

As he departed the clan leader gave him a ceremonial Red BirdSkull Headdress and a Rotting Plaguebringer Effigy as a way for him to remember them by, and mark him as an honorable guest should he ever come back in the future.

He stopped in Clan Sparrow Star again, leaving behind some samples and telling the hatchlings about all the places he had been but before long his wings began to itch to see the world again.

Einar's arrival to Clan Blue Lotus came with a bit of a surprise. Tired from his long flight, he landed not so gracefully at the edges of the Hewn City. There he met a pair of dark Skydancers, Selene and Luna, and an equally dark Imperial with feathered wings who called himself Dark. The trio led the tired Coatl further along to a massive network of ruined buildings that had been turned into a flourishing, bustling lair.

Einar could only watch, baffled, as a quartet of Fire dragons went around lighting lanterns, a pair of Water-element Spirals trailing after them and quickly dousing any errant flames. Observing led him to see that there was at least one dragon of every element. Light was more abundant, but that was to be expected, given the fact that this was the Lightweaver's territory. A large, Earthy Guardian called Noa along with a Plague Coatl lady named Eve soon replaced his guides, who disappeared back into the quiet ruins.

Noa and Eve took Einar to see the clan founders, three Fae that he wasn't very good at reading. Two of them, a pair of Wind dragons, hardly even moved their frills in expression, which hardly helped him any. The third, a Light-born female and much younger than the Wind-born pair, was much more animated, though that didn't help much, either. Noa and Eve were good translators, though, and soon, he was lead off to a place he could rest.

Despite the commotion caused by the younger dragons of the clan, Einar found himself relaxed and falling asleep easy. This place was peaceful, open, and friendly. Anyone was welcome as long as the rules were followed. There was no cruelty here. Even the pen he'd seen on passing that housed unpaired familiars was large and uncramped, open to the rest of the lair. Dragons with and without familiars seemed to be in and out of the area, and all the familiars, even the ones that kept a wary distance from the passing dragons seemed content. This was a good place.

Time passed and Einar settled in, making friends with the other dragons. The younger ones seemed particularly eager for his company, begging stories from him of his travels. Some of them seemed to be in and out of the lair, coming back battered, but cheerful. When he asked about them, he was informed that they were young ones that wished to go serve the lady Lightweaver. They were training with the clan's warriors so they could do their best for their goddess. No dragon was sent off unwilling. All of them had asked to go. It seemed to him that the dragons training to go to the lady seemed most eager for his stories, wanting to learn as much as possible about the world before leaving the clan. And so he soon found himself becoming known as the clan story-teller.

It left him little time for his own work, with young dragons always clamoring for his attention. Sometimes he took them with him, but he soon realized that he couldn't stay if he wanted to continue his work. He still had much to see himself, and he was quickly running out of stories. He was sad about it, but he knew he had to go. And so he went to Noa and Eve and explained. Both of them understood and wished him the best of luck on his journey, informing him that he was always welcome back if he wished to return. The clan's doors would always be open for him at any time.
