Henri

Born to a clan serving the Arcanist, Henri embodies the curiosity and thirst for knowledge of his magical upbringing, but his desire to learn is balanced by a deep sense of relaxation and lack of ambition. While there is nothing Henri loves more than studying the stars and learning all of their names and mythologies, he desires this knowledge only for its own sake rather than looking for any way that it could benefit him.

His relaxed curiosity and lazy passion were qualities that drew Weatherwax to him almost immediately; they were both young and she had not yet struck out on her own to form the Frostiron Clan. Although she was concerned at first that Henri might not want to be the mate of a clan leader, he was not at all bothered by the idea, and his unflappable perspective and steady wisdom very quickly proved to be indispensable to her in the task of forming and leading her own clan.

While Henri is exceptionally proud of his mate's accomplishments and of the Frostiron Clan, he gladly admits that he was relieved when she chose to pass leadership on to Romanoff. They aren't young dragons anymore, and he loves having her around more often to gaze at the stars with him.
