PERSONALITY

Leela had always felt like an outsider in the clan until Romana came. The others saw her as too wild, too untamed, someone who had no time for their long words and slow politics.

And though Romana fights her battles differently, Leela knows she has her a fierceness of her own. They're roaring lionesses together, as Andred and her had once been and that's all she needs to stay. They've come to respect each others differences and are close friends though even Leela's steadfast loyalty has been tested at times by Romana's bad decisions and occasional hubris.

Leela and Narvin have a friendship based on bickering and it's a strong one, even if Leela threatens to stab him fifty times a day.

Her loyalty is to her friends and not to Gallifrey, the place where she'd never belonged, a stark difference to Romana and Narvin's priorities.
