Rubicunda may not be a good fighter, or a good mage. But she is no less dedicated to the battle for dominance, and she supports her adoptive flight with all her heart. She composes epic battle-hymns for those departing to serve the Gladekeeper and leads choirs of hatchlings too young to train in the Coliseum.
Her pastel coloration is considered an ill omen among Coatls, but Rubicunda laughs this off as a baseless superstition. After all, her mate Rhadamanthus is even paler than she is, and he's as powerful a hunter as anyone, bright-hued or not! |
