Biography

Received from: Ninjatomomi's Clan . Permanent Member: Clan Clutter

"Ceuaaak!" The glimmering pile of wingbones and scales shook with the tall grass it lay in. "Kwueaagk!
The last rays of sunlight reflected with as much energy as they could off shiny Ice eyes.
"Eereep," the hatching swallowed nervously. Young as it was, it already understood regret, and was in fact feeling such regret about the amount of noise it had just been making. Then, as if on cue, massive footsteps began to shake the ground, and grass.
The hatchling hunkered close to the ground, seeing an unexpected benefit to the setting sun. She would blend in with the dusk. Shadows began to cover her as the thumping got closer. Then the shadows, and the shaking, abruptly stopped.
"Now where," a brilliantly white dragon said as it leaned down, blocking its own shadow, "did
you come from?"
But the Guardian scooped it up before it had a chance to reply...

Unnamed recently arrived at the clan in a most...usual manner. She was found by clan leader Crysis in the tall grass surrounding the lair. Except for the usual hatching noises and screeching, she has not said much. She is currently being cared for by fellow Nocturne Skybax who, having recently hatched a nest, is already taking care of several hatchlings. The clan council plans to ask neighboring clans about any heists, clan eradication, or mass exalting that could have left the young hatchling clanless and alone, but they are very confused as to how she could have gotten to their lair. Until then, or until she can speak for herself, they have decided to leave her nameless.

When Unnamed did began to speak, she squawk in unintelligible, but clearly purposeful, noises. They began to call her Kuayaqg. it seemed to be what she wanted to be called. Kuayaqg, appearing frustrated with her inability to communicate, spent almost all of her time in abandoned Ridgeback tunnels. There she tirelessly practiced various forms of Arcane and Shadow magics and Water divination, despite her Ice heritage. She was seen by few, and some new clan members had in fact never met her. This was the case with clan member Arcturus. They ran in to each other --literally-- on one of Kuayaqg's rare food runs. She was shocked when he calmly returned the curses she muttered under her breath in the same language. Fortunately, he was un-offended, and worked to instruct her in speaking. Unfortunately, Arcturus' absolute refusal to elaborate on where he learned it eventually set them at odds. All he would say was that it was spoken by dark magic users.

Kuay once planned on gaining a stronger control of magic and divination, before acting on Arcturus' information. Unfortunately, her continued inability to get any information from Arcturus began to aggravate her considerably. She turned to the Clan's most powerful mage for more answers, and to perhaps teach her how to control her magic better so she could began her search sooner. Marun, in a rare miscalculation, taught the young Nocturne very potent Shadow spells and told her that her language was spoken by a reclusive tribe of deep-sea Water seers. Her journey to find these seers eventually led to the Incident, in which she almost caused the destruction of her clan and herself. Fortunately, and at great cost, Marun and Arcturus prevented further disaster.

Since the Incident, Kuay has contented herself with reigning in her powers and practicing more discipline. Marun steadfastedly refuses to even speak with the Nocturne; luckily for her, she has gained a study partner in Ruru, who came to the clan shortly after the Incident.
