Havokelle

Havokelle takes after her father in more than just coloration - she often followed the Earth Dragon, listening to the stories he had learned in Dragonhome, and generally wanting to know everything, both to please him and because of the scholars she grew up around. Like many Guardians, she excelled in combat, though without the Earthshaker's Boon of having scales made of stone, her ability to hold the line was not quite that of her father's. His stories eventually took a turn from general history to the more recent past, when Coyotyl would wonder about the Longneck clans he had known back in Dragonhome. While there were the occasional disagreements, there was never war like what was breaking out across the rest of Sornieth. With the itch of the Search in her scales anyway, Havokelle decided to investigate the beastclans' uprising. With the Sea of One Thousand Currents adjacent to the Sunbeam Ruins, she went there first, in part to avoid the Tangled Woods on her way to her father's home clan, and perhaps to even hear some of the Tidelord's murmuring on the subject. While the Maren were known to the Clan of the Harbinger, she didn't expect to encounter them so suddenly, when one leaped from the sea and impaled her upon his spear. As she crashed and sunk into the Tidelord's domain, the last thing she remembered was a blue figure before she passed out from the venom and lack of oxygen.

Leikan found Havokelle unconscious and drowning, and he and another member of the clan (likely Blair)
got her above water to breathe, then dragged her back to the residence of the Clan of the Deep Echoes. It took Havokelle several days to recover from the poison, needing regular doses of vaccines for whatever it was the Maren had used on her. The Guardian was far from bored, however, because it was impossible to be in the Clan of the Deep Echoes and not learn about the odd relations between the Water clan and the Maren population nearby. Additionally, she felt that she was on the brink of finding her Charge; it was not the coral reef, nor was it any dragon present in the clan, but her Charge was just beneath the surface of... something.

Between being on the brink of discovering her Charge and her fascination with the Maren, she decided to stay and see what she could learn from a group of beastmen that were so unlike those she had grown up with. She joined Leikan and Nakeia to almost any gathering with the Maren, studying them and conversing with whichever ones tolerated her enough to speak. As time progressed and they continued to work together, she grew to have an affection towards Leikan; the two are now mates.

She sincerely hopes that relations between the two groups smooth over, though from what she hears from everyone in the clan, it might be a while - if ever - before such a miracle were to happen.

When not studying the Maren and socializing with her clanmates, she scours the coral in secret, silently hoping to stumble across whatever it is she is supposed to dedicate her life to protecting.
