Banshee is Hallow's boisterous adopted sister. She is well cared for by Salem. She is loud, energetic, and always on the hunt. Banshee loves dancing around Ash and Tephron's fires, gnawing on bones with Frostbite, tussling with Kamikaze, racing with Nadia, and blowing things up with Fiona. Some clan members say Banshee was a spiral dragon in a past life, because she never seems to stop moving nor does she seem capable of ever shutting up. If she's not talking someone's ear off, she's usually growling, screeching, singing, or muttering to herself. She collects bones and practices voodoo, which freaks out some of the Bright Stones, but Everglade makes sure she's responsible about it. Banshee has a rather impressive display of old skulls, wings, and spines artfully arranged in her section of the lair.

Banshee spent part of her childhood in the Plague lands with a ruthless pack of mirror dragons until a terrible drought hit. Fierce competition over food and water caused the the group to split up, leaving Banshee abandoned by her friends and family and tormented by emotional scars. Although some dragons find her a bit odd and off-putting, there's nothing Banshee hates more than being alone; when she's not with her best friends, she clings to her adoptive family and follows Hocus, Pocus, and GlowWyrm around while they practice their magics, distracting them and generally getting underfoot. Ambriel can't stand her and the clan's fae, pearlcatcher, and tundra dragons try to avoid her, though the remaining Bright Stones mostly understand she just wants some company and make time to play with her.
