Glass.

Craaack!

Shattering to pieces. Lying askew, gleaming like bright tears in the rays of light.

Crunch.

His heart, broken and shattered when he learned the truth, hurting others around him as they accidentally crunched his glass like heart.

The truth.
The truth....
The truth.......

He thought everything had been clear in his life, no lies....

But no, now he knew the truth. The real truth, now he wished he would have never found out. She didn't love him anymore. She never had. The days were once cheerful, bright and sunny with her. But now they were dark, gloomy. Forgotten.

His dreams,
His love,
His life

All a lie, shattered...... She told him, when she found him as an egg, he was destined for great things. Wonderful, amazing things. How did he not see the light? All those years.... She told him that she would do anything for him.

But she didn't.

She left him, abandoned him. She only wanted him out of greed, for she knew his true parents were rich. She used him. That day, when swarms of dragons from his birth clan came raging in, they told him the truth. She had been his light, now she was his shadow, she would not leave his mind. She plagued his thoughts. She left him, she told him that she hated him, that no one would ever love him. Just before she died beneath his father's claws.

He ran, and ran, living far away and hoping to never come in contact with anyone again, fearing should they shatter his heart.

But then, she found him. Not the other she, the gnarly she, the horrible lying she, but a young, beautiful, kind, she. Her name, was beautiful. Everything about her was beautiful. She would never abandon him, she told him that she loved him, that how could anyone not love him?

He knew the truth, yes he did.

His shattered heart had been mended, put back together, and was whole once more.
