Banshee hatched as a bouncing, cheerful dragon, with no care in the world. She would let out cute babbles and gurgles, alongside her dear brother, Icewing. They were completely inseparable, and would follow each other everywhere. Until the day Icewing left, on a journey to the Shifting Expanse, haunted by the Stormcatcher's whispers. The two had still been young, and had not yet learned to speak. But Icewing felt a pull to the Expanse, and left while his small Guardian family slept. He would never return, mindlessly throwing himself into the path of a beam of concentrated electricity, at the Stormcatcher's demand. He was only a Shadow dragon. There would be no way for his small body to survive the onslaught. Banshee's heart froze, and she refused to ever speak, or make any friends. Why would she need to? She'd only lose them too.

Banshee is anything but a kind creature. Despite never speaking a word nor making a sound throughout her life, just a glance at the ghostly dragon says all. She adopts no pets, as past companions have often died from the vile concoctions and potions she creates. Her creations are purposely deadly, and she tests them on innocent creatures wandering the Tangled Wood. The Clan of Misfits is the only safe, and oddly fitting, clan for her to belong to. However, she holds a particular hatred for any clan member who originates from the Expanse.

Banshee's room is filled with any kind of poison, potion, or torture device she can find. Rusty chains are looped around the walls and corners, while stone benches hold toxic plants, venom sacks, and empty potion bottles. Shelves made from lightweight metal stolen from Tempest Spire, sourly reminding her of her dear brother, hold all of her dangerous and evil concoctions, held in place by bone decorations from her previous "test subjects".
