Biography

ISING
His first word was "baroque".


Ising was "found" as a baby tundra in the bamboo forest of the Plateau by probably the worst people to raise him. Allie decided that he could be useful and changed the little fluffball into a Pearlcatcher. The reason for this was three-fold: to cover their tracks from his parents, to keep him from overheating in their southern travels, and to give Allie a fresh pearl to preform all kinds of experiments with as it developed. When he wasn't being concocted on, Sethim was raising him, teaching him what he needed to know and making sure he wasn't permanently disfigured by science.

Much to Sethim's chagrin, Ising takes after his "mother's" personality. He has a loose sense of ethics, though he's quite a charmer to some, and experiments regularly with corpses, refining his skills in the art of necromancy. He hasn't been able to keep anything alive for long, but he always takes his failures in stride.

Underneath this is a desperation to win Allie's genuine approval. No matter how often Sethim has explained that she is physically unable to feel anything about anyone, he is relentless in his attempts to please her and finally get some heartfelt praise.
