Cymophane is the beekeeper of Clan Snastle.
She suffers from terrible social anxiety, and so prefers to spend her time tending to her bees rather than interacting with other clan members, a habit which the clan does their best to accommodate. She was given a room tucked into a tower on the edge of the garden, so that she can come and go from her bees without having to pass anyone, and a little workshop adjoining her room acts as a refuge where she works.

Some dragons she doesn't mind talking to on occasion. The nurse, Cuprite, was her first ever friend, and the two meet frequently, as Cymophane provides the beeswax for his hobby of candlemaking. The hatchlings are tasked with taking things to and from her little shack. Cymophane neatly piles any honey and wax destined for the clan's storage on a shelf outside her shack, underneath a little chalkboard on which she leaves messages. The hatchlings check the shelf for honey and ensure she has a stack of clean honey pots available.

Her other companion is the vault keeper and tea enthusiast, Orpiment, who comes to the shack to share herbal tea and stories, which she quietly listens to and enjoys greatly, as Orpiment knows not to push her for responses or even eye contact. She adores the old Snapper, seeing him as a father figure, and always makes sure he has plenty of honey for his tea.

Most of all, Cymophane loves her bees.
She never uses smoke to dull them instead singing softly in a deep rumble reminiscent of the buzzing of a huge bee. The sound travels well through the garden, a low, soothing song that adds to the relaxing atmosphere of the gardens.

In recent times, Cymophane has begun to speak to the Snapper who lives on the other side of the garden, Prehnite. She is always out and about gathering mulberry leaves for her silkworms, and after many months of quiet companionship in the gardens, the two began to speak of their insects.
Cymophane is slowly but surely falling deeply in love with Prehnite. The other dragon is still reeling from a lost relationship that she's very much not over, so for now she doesn't say anything, just enjoying the friendship. Cymophane sometimes joins Prehnite in the Weaving Room when the other clan members have left it, to have dinner with her coworkers and friends, Cetineite and Iolite.

The whole clan is so proud of how far she's come with her anxiety, and happy that she's made a few friends.
