Scylacagetis is an epithet for the Greek Goddess Hecate.
It means "Leader of the Dogs"

Scylacagetis is a wild spirit. Proud, defiant, and utterly uncontrollable. Any
attempt to do the latter is taken as a personal insult - and is something she’s
fought against from day one. Scyla, as the hatchling was called, despised
any dragon who sought to control her. And many did. Born outside of the
safety of a nest, Scyla was passed from adoptive family to adoptive family.
Some were kind. Some were not. All sought control. And so, all she fought.

There was but one constant in her many clans. The beasts, the familiars,
sentient and not. They did not seek control. They only sought friendship. A
kindred soul. In some cases, a leader. So that’s what Scyla became. Leader of
the Pack, Guardian of the Hunt. Protector of Freedom; hers and theirs.
