As a Mirror, Xires loves battle, and whenever there's one he jumps into the fray, clawing and biting any enemy he can get his paws and jaws on. As a member of the Plague flight, he loves gore, and often mutilates his enemies in gruesome ways. He always kills every member of the enemy group he finds, so if someone wants to capture an enemy and interrogate it for questioning, they have to hold the mirror down to prevent him from killing them. Rumors have it that Xires is actually a bloodthirsty monster that has slaughtered thousands of dragons and rival Clans, but there isn't any evidence to prove otherwise, and Xires would never admit to it even if he did. So King Armen has set the other warriors to keep an eye on him, and if he does end up harming one of his Clanmates and goes on a killing spree, then the King would kill the mirror himself. As this hasn't happened yet, Xires is free to stay and kill all the enemies he wants. But every so often the mirror has been found eyeing the hatchlings with a twisted smile on his face, as though envisioning how he would kill them. As a result, he's banned from the nursery and is prevented from interacting from the hatchlings. Xires has had hatchlings of his own, a result of a one-time fling with Prince Finnian's daughter Eleyna. He was almost never around, ignoring his hatchlings, and when he was around he often scared them away with his habit of playing with dismembered prey. The hatchlings left the Clan after they grew up, joining the Deities in their fight. The mirror has become less disturbing in his ways, though, and has fallen in love with a pretty female Nocturne named Amber. He's trying to change his ways, mutilate his enemies less, and even goes out of his way to bring Amber a flower once and a while. |
