Every October Marnie takes over as clan leader. During the rest of the year she runs the Halloween sub-clan, Salem. She and her clanmates stay detached from most of the drama happening in the main clan. They don't interact much with the other clan members, but they don't dislike them. They get along well with everyone when they do hang around each other.

Marnie practices magic and fancies herself something of a witch. She is happy and carefree for the most part, only getting serious when she is in her leader position during October. And even then she is still prominently laid back. She relishes in autumn weather and falling leaves. She's like a child, running amongst the piles of crunchy leaves.
