Kasey is a mysterious Coatl that appeared at the cave entrance as a hatchling along with a note pleading those within to care for him. Since Lynith is incapable of saying no to anyone in need, he was given a place in her clan.

Kasey developed as any other arcane dragon does. He became obsessed with all types of magic, sealing himself away for days at a time to study them. For many years, he almost never left the confines of his room. He only departed in cases of great urgency or during Starfall, when he would mingle around the festival grounds in search of an unknown answer.

Many years passed. He had trained under the greatest minds arcane had to offer. There were few magic types he had not mastered, yet he would never claim such a thing. In all pursuits of knowledge, he remained humble. Not once did he ever say he was greater than any other was.

Due to his diligence in learning the arts of magic, he has become the local Runemaster. Many of the greatest powers known to dragon kind are available to him. With great ease, he can cast spells that would require an immense amount of effort from most other dragons.

Dragons from all over the Starfall Isles come to ask him about his magic. When asked about any topic, he always gives the same answer. He would take the aspiring mage outside in the glittering starlight and whisper an unknown phrase to them. At that point, the dragon would suddenly realize one of the great truths of the world.

They would rush away to tell their discovery to someone, but by the time they arrived at their destination of choice, the moment of brilliance had vanished. All that would remain is a small piece of dark chocolate wrapped up in their claws. Surrounding it would be a note stating a simple truth from Kasey, "All who learn of sweet joy, do so at the risk of bitter disappointment."
