Nature is a beautiful sight to behold. The shifting colors of the forest throughout the day create a spectacular sight for sore eyes. Such a great masterpiece should be protected for the future generations at all costs. That’s where Gaia comes in. She is a forest ranger designated to protect the Starwood Strand’s beauty for future generations of dragons.

As a hatchling, Gaia was deprived of the privileges of a forest’s splendor because she grew up in the Southern Icefield. While she loved her native home dearly, it was barren of the bounty of nature she valued at such a high price. As a result, she traveled to a nature clan to learn the ways of the forest ranger.

After many moons of training, Gaia was given the opportunity to protect one of the world’s strangest forests, aptly named the Starwood Strand. The trees stretch skyward and grow taller than anywhere else. At night, they blossom and reveal millions of flowers winking in the moonlight like so many stars. So loved are these flowers that dragons from all over the world gather to witness their beauty. However, many of these travelers do not realize the danger of the forest surrounding them. Many enter to never be seen again. Gaia’s job was created to prevent as many losses of souls as possible, for great beauty leads to even greater danger.
As a result of her relocation, Gaia had to find a clan to belong to in Arcane. At the recommendation of a friend, Gaia was introduced to a small clan of dreamers located in a cave two hours from the forest. There she has stayed despite the long commute to work she takes each day.
