Uh-oh, looks like this rakish young male caught a bad case of Wanderlust! He's left his Home Lair behind and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to Dragons Off To See The World.  146755/Aey Baroque is a lover, not a fighter. He believes he is suave beyond comprehension, absolutely irresistible. While his undeniable good-looks begin daliances with females and males alike, his off-putting arrogance and superiority complex put a quick end to these short flings. The single female willing to look past his snobbishness was sent fleeing the lair in tears, never to be seen again, after he flew into a rage when the nest she hatched with him produced none of his sparkley crystaline beauty. Baroque left the lair in a huff shortly afterward when the lead dragon, Larimar, confronted him about his behavior. Unwilling to own up to his error, he checked his perfect mane in the reflection of an ice wall before flying off. 100601/Abu (Light Flight: Hewn City) It only seemed natural to Baroque that he should fly to the land of Light, known for it's glittery dragons and hordes of gold. It was in the shadows of the Hewn City that he was drawn to the golden crystal sheen of a beautiful snapper, Bronte, and they created a nest of what they were sure were the most beautiful hatchlings to ever grace the land. At first, they seemed perfect for each other. Each so busy obsessing over themselves that they didn't notice the self-absorption of the other. As time went on, Baroque's need for flattery grew and he became frustrated that his new mate didn't find him as attractive as she found herself. With growing frustration, he knew it was time to move on to a clan who could better appreciate his glory. 116831/Nanosaur (Lightning Flight: Carrion Canyon) Baroque's journey brought him next to the stormy desert of the Lightning Flight. He hadn't planned on staying long (cloudy skies didn't exactly give a sheen to his beautiful crystalline scales) but he was eventually forced to find refuge when a particularly rough gale forced him ground-wards. Luckily he didn't land too far off from civilization, and was able to stay the night at Pinkbird Publishing, Sornieth's primary printer of celebrity gossip. He had hoped the magazine editors of the unusual clan would give him some attention, but everyone he met seemed either standoffish or unimpressed. His stay did not last long, and soon enough he was on the move again, on the hunt for someone who could appreciate his dazzling good looks. 201762/MiladyAdler (Arcane Flight: Focal Point) Baroque stretched in the midmorning sunlight. He'd never pictured himself visiting the Starfall Isles - the dragons here could be so terribly bookish and boring. Still, it was sunnier than where the Lightning Flight made their home, and at night the stars were bright and beautiful and could be seen in every facet of his bejeweled wings. This place wasn't half bad, he thought, and it offered a place to sleep and good eating. And Chalce - his heart did a little flip - well, she certainly was lovely. All aglow with her sparkling scales...why, she was almost as beautiful as he was. She, however, seemed less easily impressed with his charm and complexion. He sighed. Their one clutch of hatchlings had all been radiant, gorgeous dragons too, but they'd flown off to new homes. Much as he was in love with Chalce, he felt the pull of adventure too - it was about time he felt the wind under his wings again. Though I suppose it couldn't hurt to stay just one more day... 66110/DigitalElf (Arcane Flight: The Observatory) Moving up closer to the stars seemed like a god choice, the closer he was to them the more of them could be seen reflected in his fabulously shiney scales. Finding a lair to stay in wasnt too hard, after all who can say no to a wildclaw with such a fabulous cape. Baroque found himself in a very busy lair, fair few of the dragons didnt even pay him any attention. He was not pleased and after a little run in with the clans resident flirt the he thought it best to more on as the dragons here didnt really pay him much attention. 0Please add to the log/lore! |
