The dragons gathered around as the ceremony began. Rusorth and I were standing facing Techno and Gabriel, who were kneeling. Salford was in the middle, supervising the ceremony with the book in his hand. Salford was indeed traditional, and had started reading up on all the rites required the moment Rusorth and I had informed him of our decision.

As I looked around, I couldn't help but smile. Seeing Hera, the joy of the clan, trying to out-joke Beethoven, the clan experimenter. Seeing Selene taking care of the hatchlings . Watching Atmosphere, whom I myself had found and nursed back to health with the help of Techno, haggle with the neighbouring clan's dragons on some jars she had found during her travels. Looking around, I felt pride at what I had achieved. Thou the clan was still considered small, It had came a long way from when it was just me, searching for my destiny.

I still remember the day I was lost, separated from my clan in the freezing plains of the Icewarden's domain. There, a mulberry....

"Pathfinder, the sun is at the right angle. It is time"

I snapped out of my thoughts, hurriedly stood a little straighter and nodded at Salford.

"Indeed."

Techno and Gabriel together had proven themselves more than worthy. They had fought tooth and nail for our clan, and Rusorth and I felt that they will be able to handle this honour.

As Rusorth picked up the key, I stepped towards the pair.

"Will you carry out your duty with honour?'

"YES PATHFINDER"
"YES VICTORIA"

Salford glared at Techno. "THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FORMAL CEREMONY." Techno simply grinned," Formalities are boring Salford. Let's go down to the mire after this and get informal, shall we?"

Before a brawl could ensue, Rusorth swiftly placed the key onto Gabriel's and Techno's intertwined paws and announced " I now declare you the Keepers of Food!"
