Background
The wind whipped his face, the sun beating down on his head. He patted his sides, making sure that his armor and weapons were all in place. He looked forward, taking in the sight of the arena before him. The colosseum was packed full of people, all waiting for the battle in which he would participate. He took in his favorite sight, the strong white pillars of the building he loved. There was a sharp grating noise and he looked forward, the gate was lifting. His enemy was approaching, and it was time for battle. His wings aided in his push forward, blade and shield ready for his foe.

Vale was introduced to clan Kiran when Emyr was dancing during an intermission. Emyr recognized the talent of Vale, and asked him to join the clan as a guardian. He agreed. He wanted to travel and see more, and if joining the clan was the correct way to do it, so be it. He was getting older and battles were straining him more and more. He retired as a fighter and gave his apprentice, Merlin, his armor.

After beating Hayate's most skilled warriors, Dulais and Rhuned, Vale was gifted with his Sapphire wings. After joining the clan and proving his talent while training young fighters, Sina and Rubilax gifted him his siren wings. He is now viewed as an elder in the clan, treated with respect and honor.

He enjoys tea time with Cottan on a regular basis.
