Bulkhead

Bulkhead is one of the three oldest dragons in Prowl's clan. To be honest, no one is really sure who the oldest is, as Bulkhead never really kept track of his own age.

Bulkhead is a dragon born to the Lightning Flight, and spent much of his life learning to survive and scavenge in the barren lands. He soon grew tired of the general attitude of the Shifting Expanse, particularly the Ridgeback's tendency to 'borrow,' and so set out to find a more laid back place to live.

He eventually found his home in the domain of the Earthshaker, and stayed there for many years - he was content. Peaceful. And so, naturally, that peace was shattered (loudly) by a pearl-less Pearlcatcher called Starscream.

Starscream had managed to lose her Pearl, and was scouring the world to find it. She ended up in Dragonhome following a promising lead, and managed to get herself hurt. A healer in Bulkhead's former clan had taken her in, and thus they met - and didn't particularly like each other.

Still, Bulkhead was a talented scavenger and Starscream would need some muscle out in the wilds of Dragonhome. And so, Bulkhead decided to help her search for her Pearl. They were successful, briefly, but circumstances forced Starscream to choose between her pearl and his life.

Bulkhead ended up leaving Dragonhome with Starscream, returning to the Sunbeam Ruins with her. By the time they made it back, his new mate was already carrying their first clutch. The two were slowly integrated into Prowl's clan, mostly under Bulkhead's influence.

Bulkhead is a gentle giant - but not one you would want to cross. He is an extremely strong and capable fighter. Very much enjoys napping in the sun.

His familiar is a Warcat Protector he calls Jackie.
