Biography
Hunter | Fisher | Ranger
Ahote, in the Hopi language, means "restless one". "wa" is added on to make it a feminine name. | Ahotewa is the dragon version of my World of Warcraft main character, a tauren hunter. More details can be found here.
Ahotewa doesn't see much of the clan. Some might even wonder if she actually is part of the clan at all. She blows both ways about it; sometimes she likes having somewhere to call home, a settled place with familiar faces, and sometimes she thinks about moving on to hunt and fish elsewhere. Sometimes it seems like she might have gone for good, she's away so long; her ranging usually takes her east through the Steppes and Ashfall Waste, sometimes as far as as the Shifting Expanse. She stays on foot, for the most part. It's easier to sneak up on prey that way.
Her wolf, Kajika, is her truest companion and friend. They've been together for quite a long time, too. Before Kajika was a different wolf, whose pelt she now wears to remember it by, and after Kajika will surely be another wolf. She's never much gotten along with other dragons, though she doesn't dislike them. She just prefers wolves, is all. When she returns from her ranging, though, it's always one of the clan's border guards she encounters first, and she knows them well enough to consider them friends. Any resident hatchlings are always very interested in her as well, this quiet and infrequent visitor with all her trinkets and prizes of feather and bone and metal. Sometimes she hangs around long enough for the older hatchlings to ask her where some of the skulls and fangs came from, and she secretly delights in telling the stories to them. |
