Biography
It wasn't often that the Dragons of the Amethyst Scale found themselves with fresh flour, but when they did, Gilded would lay claim to it so fast, the scavengers barely had time to breathe.
Flour was easy to come by, but fresh flour straight from the Virirdian Labryinths or the Windswept Plateau was a different story altogether.
No one fought with her over it though.
The clan didn’t get fresh bread as much as they'd like to, so they didn't complain.
Hours later, Gilded would emerge from the bakery, carrying a tray of steaming hot samples.
She gave most of the treats away, of course.
The pearlcatcher could bake practically everything under the sun.
Cupcakes, muffins, croissants, biscuits, pies, cakes, you name it, she'd bake it.
Her talent was very much in demand of course.
The Dragons of the Amethyst Scale were glad that she chose to stay.
Gilded set up her bakery mere weeks after she settled in.
Regalion, a pearlcatcher offered to help her build it, but after he almost set the kitchen on fire, she -politely-kicked him out.
It took an apologetic note and a bouquet of roses before Gilded let him in again.
(She did enjoy his performances though)
Gilded wasn't exactly sure when they became mates, but the two of them ended up together eventually.
(The whole clan shipped it, so to speak)
She was happy, though.
Gilded had her bakery, a loving mate, a clan that felt like home, and her baking skills.
She needed nothing else.
